NISM Exam date Schedule

Unlike traditional competitive exams with a single national test date, NISM (National Institute of Securities Markets) certification exams are conducted on-demand throughout the year.

You can essentially choose your own exam date, time slot, and test center based on seat availability.

How the Schedule Works

  • Frequency: Testing windows are open daily/weekly across various cities.

  • Test Calendar Releases: NISM publishes detailed monthly test center calendars about 3 months in advance. For example, schedules for May, June, and July 2026 are currently live and downloadable on the official site.

  • Location Slots: Standard exam centers (like NSEIT centers) in major cities typically offer multiple slots per day (e.g., 13:30 to 15:30 and 15:30 to 17:30).

How to Check Dates and Book Your Slot

1.Visit the Official Portal:

Go directly to the NISM Certification Portal. If you are a new user, you will need to create an account and upload your PAN card and photograph for approval.

2.Select Your Certification:

Choose the specific exam you want to take (e.g., NISM Series XV: Research Analyst or Series VIII: Equity Derivatives).

3.Check Available Dates & Centers:

Under the “Enrollment” tab, select your preferred State, City, and Test Center. The portal will display a calendar of available dates and time slots for that specific location.

4.Make the Payment:

Once you select a convenient slot, pay the prescribed exam fee online to lock in your booking.

 

Alternative: eCPE (Continuing Professional Education)

If you already hold a certificate that is expiring and you are looking for the eCPE (online/offline classroom training) calendar to revalidate it, NISM schedules these on specific fixed dates each month (e.g., schedules for late-2026 are published online).
